Data Safety

A quick, practical summary of what happens to your information. For complete details, read the Privacy Policy.

What data does Resume60 collect?

Account details, plan/usage metadata, interview setup, submitted answer text, coding submissions and results, and generated reports. Vercel Analytics also provides anonymous page-view and device/browser statistics.

Why are resumes uploaded?

PDF and DOCX files are selected so the ATS Resume Lab can extract text and help you review or format the resume. The current ATS file reader runs in your browser; the file is not placed in a Resume60 server-storage bucket.

What happens to interview answers?

Submitted answers are stored as text in Supabase and sent with relevant context to OpenAI for evaluation, follow-up questions, and reports. Drafts are also saved locally on your device so a refresh does not discard progress.

Is audio stored?

Resume60 does not create or store an audio recording. The browser’s speech-recognition service processes microphone input and returns text. Submitted transcript text is stored like a typed answer.

Does Resume60 sell personal information?

The current product does not contain a data-sale or advertising workflow. Information is shared with service providers only as needed for authentication, hosting, analytics, payments, code execution, and AI processing.

Are uploaded resumes publicly visible?

No public resume page or sharing feature exists. ATS resume drafts remain in that browser’s local storage. Resume text pasted into an interview is stored as private account data protected by Supabase row-level access rules.

Are interview reports private?

Reports are linked to the signed-in user’s interview. Database row-level security restricts report access through ownership of that interview. Avoid sharing report URLs or signed-in devices with others.

How can I request deletion?

Go to Account → Settings → Delete account and confirm the permanent deletion. This removes the Supabase account and cascade-linked interview data, then clears Resume60 drafts on that device and signs you out.

Is data shared for processing?

Yes, where needed: Supabase handles accounts and database records; OpenAI processes interview content; Vercel hosts the app and provides anonymous analytics; Razorpay processes purchases; Google handles optional sign-in; and configured live code execution may send code to a Judge0-compatible runner.
